In the 1930’s, Percival Brant, a Fellow of the Guild of Letter Cutters, started the business that still bears his name. Now run by his grandsons, the company is still committed to his ideals of craftsmanship and personal attention.

Kerb Memorials

Full/Kerbed Memorials

Kerbed memorials in Hertfordshire

Kerbed memorials feature traditional, rectangular surrounds and are available in many colours, materials and designs.

The monumental masons at P Brant and Sons Ltd always fix the headstone onto a single piece of concrete to guarantee safety and stability. The inside of the grave can then be filled in with chippings, or left open for planting flowers.

Professional advice from experienced memorial makers

Although both attractive and popular, some cemeteries have specific areas for kerb surrounds and in some they are not permitted at all. The team at P Brant and Sons Ltd can advise you on if and where a kerbed memorial will be appropriate.

For your complete peace of mind, we offer a ten year guarantee from the date of project completion.

A simple and easy design process

When you place an order with P Brant and Sons Ltd, we begin by producing a print-out of how your memorial will look. In this way, you can view the chosen letter style, the wording and how much space will be left on the memorial.

As we are hand engraving specialists, you can also see the planned hand etched inscription marked out on the stone prior to cutting. With either method we can make any changes necessary at the proof stage, and will never begin the engraving until you are happy.
